The Salvation Army Hero Society

The Hero Society is a way to give monthly, helping to sustain the programs we have in place. Serving more than 38,000 adults and children throughout Onondaga County, The Hero Society funds individual projects needed most to help serve clients at The Syracuse Salvation Army. Whether it’s teaching independent living skills to adults or the day care helping children learn and grow, your gift is assured to provide the support so many are counting on.

How it works

Eliminate checks and have your gift debited directly from your debit or credit card monthly, in amounts of $10, $15, $20, or any amount! This also saves The Salvation Army the need to mail you monthly.

Why give to the Hero Society?

The Hero Society provides an easy way to help the Syracuse Area programs on an ongoing basis:

  • The Women’s Shelter, which houses over 150 women in a single year
  • Feed the hungry, where $125 is being turned into meals for 52 people
  • The Senior Day Program giving seniors a place to socialize
  • Child Day Care and Early Head Start Program offering a healthy learning environment for our youth

Best of all, all funds stay in Syracuse!
